About Us

Brief History

A group of volunteers met in 2000 at a Southlake coffee shop to assist job seekers with their employment search.  The key element in a job search was the ability to effectively network.  There were no programs available to job seekers in the region so they set about a plan to have weekly meetings for members to emphasize the need for planned networking efforts.

White's Chapel United Methodist Church offered the use of their facilities and with a short interruption for new construction.

An SFG Alumni Group was formed to continue networking and support the Southlake Focus Group. "Pay It Forward" has been the common thread bonding the two groups known as
the best networking groups in the Dallas / Fort Worth Region.
